This project stems from a simple aspiration: to meet an essential need by designing a coffee table to complete an apartment's interior. My designer friend Paul Farthouat and I undertook this creation together. Our approach was based on a previously envisioned concept; all that remained was to bring that vision to life.

For a designer, creating their own space is a playful exercise. Crafting a unique coffee table was our main driver, a welcome opportunity to do what we love most: create.

"After sketching our idea on paper, we brought it to life in 3D to confirm the scale and dimensions. The modeling phase is also of great importance to me, as it provides a miniature version of our project, allowing us to validate various aspects.
Once validated, the fabrication phase can begin.

We crafted this table using reclaimed oak beams dating back over 100 years. We then added a glass top, secured with a specialized silicone adhesive.
