Versa is a custom, modular table concept designed using artificial intelligence. By observing the dynamic lifestyle of young professionals, I noticed that they relocate frequently due to their diverse commitments. Often in transition between different jobs, moving is a regular part of their lives. However, this generation can face financial challenges when it comes to updating their furniture to find personalized solutions that fit their unique spaces and specific requirements.
This is where the Versa concept comes in. This evolutionary table is engineered to adapt to the temporal and spatial changes in our lives. By leveraging artificial intelligence, we can envision a table that stays with us throughout our journey, continuously adjusting to our changing needs and environmental constraints.
Therefore, the goal was to design a table concept capable of evolving over time by allowing the addition and removal of elements tailored to each user. The puzzle concept was chosen, featuring a grid-patterned table cut in a way that allows intuitive and efficient modification of any component. Consequently, it is now possible to expand, downsize, complete, and replace table modules throughout its owner's lifetime.
